British artist Curtis Holder’s drawing ‘Sunday 5:04 am’ to feature in The Derwent Art Prize exhibition in Paris

My large coloured pencil drawing ‘Sunday 5:04 pm’ will feature in The Derwent Art Prize exhibition in Paris this June - my first international group exhibition.

The Derwent Art Prize is a global art competition celebrating excellence in contemporary graphic art. Created in 2012 by Derwent, the prize invites artists from around the world to submit the very best 2D and 3D artworks created in any pencil, including colour, water soluble, pastel, graphite and charcoal pencils.

Earlier this year two of my works were shortlisted for the prize and included in the London exhibition. 30 of the works have now been chosen to appear in Derwent’s first prize exhibition in France.

The show will take place at 35 rue Debelleyme, 75003, Paris from 8-11 June.

Huge thanks to the selectors of this year’s prize, curator and art historian Katy Hessel, artist Charmaine Watkiss and Paul Hobson, Director of Modern Art Oxford.
