Curtis Holder’s work ‘Family’ Highly Commended in the UK Coloured Pencil Society 20th Anniversary Gala Exhibition

I am delighted that my drawing ‘Family’, which I created for the finals of Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year 2020, has received a Highly Commended award at the UK Coloured Pencil Society 20th Anniversary Gala Exhibition.

I am also exhibiting a self-portrait titled ‘Polyphemus’ in the exhibition which is being held from 14-24 October in the impressive Bargehouse exhibition space, Oxo Tower Wharf. It will be the society’s largest ever exhibition of coloured pencil artwork featuring nearly 250 diverse works by UK and international artists.

As well as the main exhibition there is plenty see and do, including an art wall of trading card sized originals created by society members, workshops and live demos. You can book your place on any of the workshops now.

There will also be a test it out area where you can try a host of products and take away samples. Who doesn’t love a freebie?

Entry to the exhibition is free and no booking is required. See you there!
