‘Nasim’ by Curtis Holder selected for The Pastel Society Annual Exhibition 2021

I am thoroughly delighted my portrait ‘Nasim’ has been chosen to appear in the Pastel Society’s 122nd Annual Exhibition 2021 at the Mall Galleries.

Featuring works created in pastel, pencil, chalk and charcoal, The Pastel Society is recognised as foremost in its field, showing the work of leading contemporary artists as well as encouraging work by new artists.

The Society was founded in 1898 and held its first exhibition in the Royal Institute in Piccadilly. Founder members and early exhibitors included Brangwyn, Degas, Rodin, Rothenstein, Whistler and G.F. Watts.

My double portrait of Nasim @nasimluczaj was drawn from live sessions and photographs organised by the brilliant @drawing_life_glasgow.

The exhibition has been postponed until a later date, however you can see all selected works online in the gallery, along with my work ‘Nasim which is now for sale.
