Curtis Holder exhibits in ‘Benchmark’: The Pastel Society’s 126th Annual Exhibition

I am excited to announce that my work, ‘The Stage Technician’ (2023), will be featured in Benchmark, the 126th Annual Exhibition of The Pastel Society.

This contemporary, adventurous, and creative show challenges preconceptions about pastel and dry media, showcasing the versatility and richness of these materials.

The exhibition features work by established members, newly elected artists, and talented participants from an open call. With a diverse array of styles and subjects in pastel, pencil, charcoal, crayon, chalk, and more, the show truly sets the benchmark for skill, inspiration, and enthusiasm.

During the exhibition, members of The Pastel Society will host events in The Studio at Mall Galleries. I will present a demonstration, ‘The Magic of Pencil: Curtis Holder,’ on Saturday, 2 February, at 2 pm.

The exhibition runs from 22 January to 8 February 2025 at Mall Galleries in London.
