Curtis Holder hosts new episodes of ‘Artist of the Year: Masterclass’ on Sky Arts

I will be presenting two episodes of Artist of the Year: Masterclass, a new TV series on Sky Arts featuring tutorials from artists who have participated in Portrait Artist of the Year or Landscape Artist of the Year.

In this 40-episode series, the artists will demonstrate easy-to-learn techniques for budding artists at home.

Each masterclass focuses on a different subject or technique to help audiences understand the basics of painting and drawing, using a variety of mediums, from oils to acrylics, pencil to watercolour.

My masterclasses will be broadcast as part of the new series of episodes from 24 February 2025:

• Thursday 27th February at 6pm - Connecting with Your Sitter 

• Tuesday 4th March at 6:30pm - Drawing with Coloured Pencils 

Other artists giving masterclasses include Artist of the Year judge Tai-Shan Schierenberg, past series winners Gareth Reid, Wendy Barratt, Brogan Bertie, Morag Caister, Finn Campbell-Notman, Christian Hook, Fujiko Rose, and many more.
